[Resolved] No page title? (in the browser bar)

As the topic title says.. the four pages with the buddypress (activity, members, register, activate) don’t have a title in the browser bar (above the URL). For example, the news page is like: “News|RoLeague”, the media page is like “Media|RoLeague”, but these pages are just “|RoLeague”, without any title. How should I fix this? thanks.

Also, take a look here please http://buddypress.org/support/topic/visual-bug-in-registration-page-2/ (this is another problem i’ve got) thanks again

  • This is theme or plugin related BP filters into the wp_title() quite correctly normally, e.g on the activity directory it would read ‘Activity Stream Directory | BP 1.7 – the browser’

Ok, so what should I do to make it show e.g. on the activity ‘Activity | RoLeague’ or smth like this..? (instead of ‘|RoLeague’)

@ivevera could be either the theme author modified output for wp_title in header.php and functions.php file or there’s a SEO plugin conflict or something else entirely. Change to Twenty Twelve theme and if you don’t see the title of page in browser then could be plugin conflict.

    -solved-
it was the seo plugin causing the problem, disabled on this page, now works fine.

@ivevera Thank you for posting back with the culprit, an SEO plugin as one of suspected conflicts. You could also post at that seo plugin author’s forums that it’s not “playing nice” with BuddyPress pages.

    Marking this topic as resolved.
