Not able to reply after upgrading to 1.5

    The reply option to a post in the deault BP theme says “comments off” after upgrading BP to 1.5 and upgrading WordPress to the latest version. (In the theme I have used but which was outdated, the reply option disappeared totally). What to do? I have de-installed plugins.. That does not fix the problem

    correct version BP: I have upgraded to 1.2.9 and not 1.5

    It might be your custom theme that’s not compatible or updated for BP 1.2.9. Change to bp-default theme.

    Sorry :-)
    1) Go to menu Settings > Discussion > Default article settings == Allow people to post comments on new articles and/or
    2) Go to Post > Edit > specific post and check that comments are not disabled.
