Do any of your site emails arrive at hotmail addresses?
If the emails are going to other addresses but none to hotmail you are likely facing the overzealous blocking they do.
I have observed this issue with only Hotmail.
You will need to test sending emails from your server to hotmail or use some other logging to see if they are returning a message dropped or blocked error code.
I have just tested your suggestions. I’m unable to send a mail to hotmail. I get an error” Mail delivery failed: reurning message to sender.”

I have contact my webhost, this one tells me that ” We have reviewed your concern and appears that the IP address of our email server has been blacklisted by Outlookâs and Hotmail’s Mail Service. Please accept our apologies for the inconveniences that this issue may caused you.”
So I’m waiting. Thanks for your help. I thonk that I will keep opened this topic if issues occurs after unblacklisting IP adress has been done.

Hello, I’m coming back to you. My webhost has fixed IP blacklisting issue. Now I am able to send emails from my server to hotmail. But using buddypress, it is impossible. Activation Emails are not send.
