Option to Opt-Out of Having Activity in Global Stream

Hi There,

I have found a plugin to display only friend’s activity and yours in the global activity stream, but I thought it would be awesome to have it so that every user has the option to display their activity in the global stream or not. And furthermore, when they first register, to not have their information displayed in the stream till after so many days, so that they have a chance to fiddle with this privacy setting.

Just a thought. Maybe this has already been created, but I haven’t found it yet. If anyone has already created this, please do let me know! I would love to add it to my site.

I’m not aware of a plugin that does what you wish.

But it wouldn’t be that hard, if you know how to code, to write such a plugin or extend the plugin you mention.

You might try asking that plugin’s author to add those features.

Or you could hire someone to make the changes:
