Posts on the forum which are edited are showing in the activity stream as created at time of editing

    Hi,

I have edited a couple of forum posts today, and whilst on the forum topic page, and the list of topics in the forum directory, the original time of the post is preserved, on the activity stream the post shows as being created at the time it was edited.

I think edited posts should retain the original time that they were created (and thus their correct place) in the activity stream too.

Is this a bug in BP or is it working as intended? If working as intended, is there a way that I could alter the behaviour of the activity stream for my installation?

    Thanks,

    Nick

I just edited a reply to a forum topic, as opposed to an initial post/topic and the original time of creation was preserved in the activity stream. I’ll report back when I next edit a initial post. Maybe it was a one-off glitch that I experienced before.

I get this same issue but with blog posts. Every time I edit an old blog post from WordPress it shows up in my activity stream as a new post, not sure if many have experience it since the only way to know is if these posts are getting updated. But in my case, i have to be updating posts all the time and I believe this shouldn’t be happening. Is there a way to stop this?
