Hi. A friend and I (me tech-ey, him sales-ey) are starting up a new social networking site for firness buffs. The closest model of what we are planning is foursquare.com. I am intimately familiar with WordPress, and of course my first inclination is to use the WP engine to set this up. However, if some of the capabilities (like finding friends, etc.) are unavailable, I’ll have to look elsewhere (like ELGG or similar). I’d rather stay in the WP world if possible, so give me good news, OK?
