Preventing members from leaving a group?

    I’m setting up a BuddyPress powered forum for the 2012-2013 school year for the classes I teach.
    I’m using WordPress 3.3.2 and BuddyPress 1.5.5. I waffle back and forth about whether I want to use bbPress or not. I’m not sure what the benefits of that are.

    At any rate, I have some of my current students testing it out, seeing what they can get away with, how to earn points, use the forum, etc.

    They found they can leave a group pretty easily, which is not really what I want. I need to be able to restrict joining and leaving groups since each group is a period of the class.

    How can I limit access to and leaving groups?
