Private Message Button does not appear if an user is logged in

    The Private Message Button only appears, if an user is logged out. If he is logged in, only the Public Message Button is displayed anymore.

    @tiger007xy you’re right in thinking something’s awry in your installation. WP/BP versions? Theme/Plugins used? Have you done some basic troubleshooting like changing to Twenty Fourteen and deactivating all plugins except BuddyPress to check if issue is resolved.
