Quillress…. Creative Writing Blog

Hi there. First of all, I would like to say how wonderful and beautiful a thing both WordPress and Buddypress are. The fact that I have managed to get a site up and running with the most basic of computing skills has just blown me away. Literally could not be done without the work of you guys, which I think is just immense!

A couple of students and I from our uni decided to make a creative writing blog, but instead of just having a typical blog site we decided to add on some community aspects using Buddypress to set us apart. This is what we have so far, a lot more work has to be done. Hopefully we can customise the look of it further…

Any suggestions on how we could utilise the user ‘blog’ feature so that people could use it to upload their own short stories ect.. would be interesting. Don’t know if any of you guys can think of anything.

If you are interested in creative writing at all, feel free to sign up! Content wise, we are looking to get a lot more up in the next month or two.

Hey, I went to your site. Well done, but I didn’t see any actual stories on it. Am I missing the point?

I’m trying to figure out how to make a site that allows the posting of stories, including novels, divided into chapters. That’s the one I’m trying to figure out for my own blog.

@boyinabubble Did you remove your index.php file from your root directory or something? When I clicked on your ink, I can see other folders in your Public HTML folder but not your site. You had better take a look at this.

Yeah.. site index is showing up..

    though.. this site looks snazzy!

    great job…
