Re-Activate an Archived Blog

    Hi,
Just did my first install of Buddypress and had it all working great with customization. I was in the Blog Admin and checking settings when I saw a button for “Archive” Blog and dummy me thought it meant to archive the posts for future access. It was the only blog in the setup and once I saved my settings I received this message: “This blog has been archived or suspended.”.

Now I have no access to the WP-Admin page or login. Site is completely gone for any access. I tried renaming the plugin folder but that just caused an error message concerning the WP EZ Cache plugin.

What file do I edit to undo this setting? Or is it in the Database? Help!

    Just an update…

I went ahead and did a new install of Buddypress and moved all my need stylesheets and plugins over. Only took an hour or so. Hardest part? Setting up the page content again for static pages.

So I am live again and all is well. I would still like to get an answer to the issue and solve it for future reference. I can also use that installation as a test bed.

    Thanks in advance

I have no idea if there’s a UI for this now, and no time to check, but you used to have to edit the appropiate records in the wp_blogs DB table. There’s an “archive” column, set it to 0.
