Redirect BP Home link to “Activity” for Logged IN users

    Hi,

    I’m new to this and have become stuck with a problem.

    When a user logs in, they are redirected to a page of my choice, this works fine.

    After they have logged in, if they click the HOME link (which links to the root domain “/”) Buddy press redirects to /members/.

    How can I change it so logged in users who press the HOME link get re-directed to /activity/ instead?

    If this requires code, please explain the exact location & file to edit.

    Many thanks in advance, spent a couple of days googling this so hoping someone can help.

    In the dashboard, under Settings/Reading, change setting “Front Page Displays:” to the second radio button (A Static Page) and then select the page that is displaying your activity stream as the Front Page.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply 🙂

    I’ve already tried this and it sort of worked but (and there’s always a but!), this results in anonymous users hitting the stream instead of the shop first… As a virgin user hits the site it’s important they see the shop/products etc.

    Currently, If they register it goes to /activity/ after log in, but if they go to the homepage (when already logged in–cookie) it redirects to /members/

    I’ll keep digging 🙂

    u might need to google redirect home page plugin
