Register page keep refreshing

    Hello,
    I run a free non-profit website that helps thousands of parents to help each other.
    When a new user tries to register the registration page is not submitted and is only refreshed. The boxes are all green except those of the password.
    I put the sweetsixteen theme and uninstalled all the plugins. I also allowed define (‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true);
    Can you please help me? I can give access rights if needed.

    By the way thank you very much for helping.
    So we have no clue why nobody can register anymore…hope someone from the community can help.
    I can give all access needed to website or FTP.

    OK I’m in, I tried registering again and again I got the following – https://parentspresdechezvous.com/register/?cprotect=1 in the returnng register url. I think this is a potential clue. I’ve checked the plugin repository and no known plugin uses this string so it’s being added by something else I think.

    OK if I deactivate some plugins for ten minutes?

    The only other clue is that GEO My WP is throwing errors, if this means that the location is not being set correctly then this may interfere with the registration.

    Hi there,

    As a test, I made all of the registration form fields optional, and registration now works. Could you make each obligatory one by one and find which one is causing the issue?

    You’re a genius. Everything works fine.
    I think one of the fields was link to an old buddypress custom field plugin…
