[Resolved] Registration doesn't work

Hi, I’ve been through different posts here on registration issues. i did find people with same problem however none of the offered solutions worked.

My registration page is adauk.org/register-3
When validating at the end, it doesn’t register anyone and bring the user to the same register page with the password fields cleared.

Have tried resetting plugins and theme, still doesn’t work.

Hope someone can help, I’ve been on this for days, my brain is about to bleed.

I changed the URL to adauk.org/register in case the -3 was an issue but it’s still not working

@caspergrimaldi open up your Register page and delete “Ofrecemos disculpas, la página para registrarse esta en reparación. Registrate usando una red social (panel en la derecha).”

I don’t have anything written in spanish on my pages.

I restarted the whole site, it was all working well. Today I tried registering and the problem is back. I have no idea what’s creating the block.

The only plugins I have that use login ar buddypress and the membership plugin. But all those have been up and running from the start and were working fine.

New page for registering is adauk.org/join

Would love some help please. I have to launch this site on June 1st.

Hello,
I’m french new user of buddypress.
I have exactly same problem.
I have :
– reinstall
– delete .htaccess
– change navigator
– change webserver (wamp to ovh)
– modify url rewriting
And it’s always not ok…

It’s OK for me.

You should not put of capital letter in a name of directory !

@caspergrimaldi have you tried deactivating plugins (I see a lot activated in your site) one by one on your site to check which one is conflicting with BuddyPress?

@secuip glad you resolved the issue on your own 🙂
Tip: next time, it would be better if you created a new topic for your issue so that it could be seen right away.

@mercime thanks. After a few minutes it worked again. Didn’t do anything in particular, it just worked again :S

Since you’re on my case, I posted in a different post about my sidebar. You wouldn’t happen to know how i can lose the empty space above the sidebar in the profile pages?

wow this worked for me changed folder to blog instead of Blog and all is well with the log in page.
