Registration for Users with Buddypress

I’m using WP 4.9.4, buddypress the latest version, and I’m trying to a bike xchange website going where people can xchange bikes, parts, and accessories at no cost to encourage bicycling across the globe. However, I’m trying to get my register page operational, which I created a registration form with wp-forms. The site’s address is http://bikexchange.org.

I have embedded the code from from wp-forms onto the page along with a picture, and it’s being redirected to another page, instead it keeps going back to the home page.

I also have buddypress plugin which i will be using for profiles.

Where do I go to get the registration for users activated?

If clicking on the page redirects to the homepage it’s working fine, you just have not logged out 🙂

How am I supposed to logout and view the page, if I can only access it through admin?

Sorry I thought you were testing the registration page from the front end. So you are saying that clicking on edit the registration page redirects you to the homepage?

When i click on view the page, it just takes me back to the home page, its not being redirected to the page.

Does Buddypress have its own registration for users, and can I altar the registration from the admin side?

Yes that’s what I’m saying, trying to view the page when you are logged in won’t work, try logging out and viewing it.

This site is not active yet, because it’s still being worked on, so I’m unable to view it while being logged out.

Yep BuddyPress has it’s own registration page, it ususally automatically creates it – register though in reality buddypress does not use this pages content and just uses the pages slug as an anchor. You can go to Dashboard>>Users>>Profile Fields to add additional profile fields to the register page, you just add them to the Main field group. These are added to the right side of the registration page in the same order as viewed in the main profile group page.

the bp reg page should be viewable if the page is published. rt click the link and copy that link then open another browser …one you not logged in on. then paste that link into that browser to view. Or type it into your phone browser.
i think the reg page is: yourdomainname(.)com/register
Each time i installed BP that reg page was live by default.

Thank you. I believe that solves the issue of the user registration for the moment.
