I’m hosting a WPMU installation over at Rackspace Cloud Sites, which out of the box doesn’t allow you to do the virtual host thing.
Through some wizardry involving a simple PHP script and MOD_REWRITE, I was able to not only manually create subdomains that redirect to a subdirectory (i.e. a blog) on WPMU, but also be able to do the same thing with a TLD.
You’ll also be able to note that http://rizzn.com shows an identical site (it’s doing that transparent redirection thing).
Here’s the only issue – the Buddypress bar won’t maintain state (and doing a login using rizzn.com/wp-admin only redirects to the main siliconangle.net domain). Logging in works fine, it just won’t show up as such in BuddyPress on the non-SiliconANGLE domain.
What versions are you using? When I hovered over your signup I saw that you still use wp-signup.php rather than the buddypress /register. Also tried using /register on your site, but that gives a blog post..
Also, your links redirect to your other site (siliconangle.net), so I can see that when you login to siliconangle, your not logged in to rizzn.com..
