in comments.php (is that where it is?), where would I remove the two checkboxes below comments that say “notify me of new comments by email” and the same with new posts? I’d like to just erase them completely.
Neither BP or WP comes with a “notify me of new comments by email” by default, so it’s some other plugin. For example, Automattic’s Jetpack plugin’s comments feature adds this.
