I have been unable to recreate this with my test user account, but I have some users who are able to create/crop avatar as expected, while others cannot. The reported behavior is like the upload button is broken – instead of uploading, it clears the selected picture. Any ideas on what is going on? I have tried defaulting to the built in Theme, and this made no difference. I have also tried in FF, IE, and Chrome (all three working for my test user).

Edited to add: WP 3.4.1, BP 1.6 up to date, usual theme is Mingle. As stated it does not appear to be a theme issue since it persists under the default theme… any more info needed just ask.
