[Resolved] ”You’ll need to activate a BuddyPress-compatible theme” message won’t go away.

    I have Suffusion theme install along with the Suffusion BuddyPress Pack, but the message below won’t go away. I have this same thing installed on another site and don’t have this problem.

    You’ll need to activate a BuddyPress-compatible theme to take advantage of all of BuddyPress’s features. We’ve bundled a default theme, but you can always install some other compatible themes or update your existing WordPress theme.

    I found the solution. I needed to add a tag to my child theme.

    Glad you resolved this on your own. For others, add “buddypress” without the quotes to tag in stylesheet.

    `Tag: buddypress, etc. etc. etc.`
