RSS FEED error

Hi buddypress,

I am getting this below error message when I clicked the (RSS FEED) link icon? Can you tell me what is wrong with it how to fix it? perhaps to disabled it, but prefer to fix it instead, is there’s a file I can go download to overwrite it if possible?

XML Parsing Error: XML or text declaration not at start of entity
Location: https://www.mysite.com/groups/food-lover/feed/
Line Number 1, Column 2: <?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>

Please give details.

Could be a blank line outside php brackets.
Best way to know what’s going on, is to check your site on http://validator.w3.org/feed/

Depending the message you get from the validator, you can:

– Check your wp-config.php file for blank lines outside of <? and ?> bracketed sections.
– Check your theme’s functions.php file for blank lines outside of <? and ?> bracketed sections.
– One by one, disable plugins and revalidate until you isolate the one causing the problem.

The problem is due to bbPress.

Hi again,

Come to the conclusion we don’t think is necessary to have, so is there’s any way to remove the “RSS FEED” icon or disabled the link?
