Running Buddypress in a Subdirectory on a Standing Install of WP

    Hi,

I know this topic has been referenced before, but none of the solutions seem to work for me.

I am running WP 3.01 and buddypress 1.2.5.2.
I would like to run buddypress out of a subdirectory as a separate blog rather than trying to integrate it into my existing site. http://www.mysite.com/buddypress

The goal being to be running two separate themes, my current site theme (www.mysite.com) and buddypress theme (mysite.com/buddypress)

I would love to keep both buddypress and my theme in the same database so I can have keep it to one login for users.

As I’m sure people can tell from this post I only have a basic understanding. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Mike
