Setting up a BP CDN. Not sure what I should do

Well, to better improve my buddpress site, I am wanting to change the default image upload location (for avatars and group avatars) from http://www.example.com/wp-content/uploads/avatars to cdn-usercontent.example.com/content/uploads (the cdn is located on the same domain; just the URL is a subdomain). I am unsure how to approach this and any support would be very grateful. I got all my BP themes and BP Core to execute from cdn-assets1.example.com, but now it is time to address the bulk of my user’s uploads.

If it helps, the site is new and no users have uploaded media yet, so that won’t be an issue.

Setting up CDN on the same server as your site is, will defeat the purpose of a CDN to speed up your website. Different strokes for different folks. Check out these articles:
