Settings gets 404

I’m playing with standard wp theme to support buddypress using 1.1 beta (which I’ll be updating with RC later), but for some reason I get 404 when I access settings page. And I realized I don’t have /settings/ folder under bp-sn-parent.

Then I thought something was wrong with my download, and went over to trac to view files for 1.1RC, but there’s no /settings/ tepmlate files on the trac.

And my question is…which file should I edit if I want to change the design?

Have a look at bp-core-settings.php. Not templated out atm.

I have my buddypress installed correctly, but not using default bp theme, and settings page return 404. This sounds like buddypress doesn’t run on any other theme but default.

I moved all the required files from bp-sn-parent to wp theme. Everything is working fine but settings (which is very much important…)

    My site under development.

Maybe bp-core-settings.php is calling bp-sn-parent, which causes error? I’ve gotta check again..

Upgraded to 1.1RC, but settings page still returns 404.

I need to get feedback from other bp users who are using a standard wp theme to run buddypress.

Do you have the template file “plugin-template.php” in your current theme.

try copying this from the bp-sn framework and your settings page should work.

You’re very much right. That fixed the problem. Thanks!

Hey @socialpreneur could you share how you modified the theme? Really liked your implementation?
