Shorten/Eliminate the Blog Post excerpt on the Activity Stream

    Can someone direct me to a way to shorten or eliminate the blog post excerpt that occurs on the activity stream. I would still like the Activity stream to register that a blog post has been written on the network, with the requisite link and meta, I just don’t want the 100 character or so excerpt to appear.
