Show Member Profile in Dashboard

I’m looking to create a site where members are able to post articles, and edit their own profiles.

The problem is that some of them are not very web savvy, so we would like to have the profile information, and posting in the same area, ideally, the Dashboard.

The way it is by default, the Dashboard shows the posts, and profile, but the WordPress profile. Is there a way to show the BuddyPress profile instead?

@coopersita moving profiles to dashboard is harder than enabling your users to post in the front-end from their profile area via existing plugin 🙂 Check out http://buddydev.com/buddypress/introducing-buddyblog-allow-users-to-blog-from-their-buddypress-profile/ See comments area after post for attaching images to the post.
