BuddyPress.org

I have a hosted site with a new install of BuddyPress 1.1.1 I can create new users as admin, but if I logout an pretend to be Joe Public and click the “signup” button I am directed to the login page asking for username and password. I see the “register link and click that, but all I get is a white screen. White screens usually mean php problems but I installed this using the new fanstaico replacement (forget the name).

Any Ideas?

Surely, I am not supposed to manually add all users, that defeats the social networking principle.
