Site Wide Activity

  • Hi All

I am a little bit confused and I think I might be reading something wrong.
I am trying to work out how to activate site wide activity. I am reading the instructions on this page:

    Post Types Activities

but I cannot work it out.
Sorry – can someone help please?
    Rich

Do you have the Activity Streams component activated in BuddyPress settings?

Do you have the Site Tracking component activated in BuddyPress settings?

Are you trying to add a custom post type to the Activity Stream?
If so, please use gist to share your code.

Sorry. I really didn’t give you enough information.

Yes I have the activity streams and site tracking activated.

I am simply trying to allow site wide publishing of all posts and page new and updated. Currently it shows site wide activity from a site that we don’t want to show:

This site: https://gwyls.co.uk/social/ is blocked if you go and try to view the activity. You need to log in to view. However, on the main site it is showing this activity. So, I am trying:
    1. Block the activity as detailed above
    2. Show new and updated pages from the other sites on the home page

    Thanks for all the help.

    Hi

Thanks for the reply. I read that and I have to admit that it all seem somewhat confusing. I am trying to stop some posts from one site but allow all other posts site wide please? What string would I start with please?

    Thanks

That’s because you may have copied the database from that site and it is in your database. Can you please confirm if you can see them in Posts and Activities in dashboard?

    Thanks
