Struggling to create groups using my own theme

Hi i really hope someone could offer me a helping hand.

I have been setting up buddypress for my site and everything works like a charm other than the groups.

Firstly when i go to the groups page which is located at /groups/create/step/group-details/ i get

    ‘Not Found
Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help.’ above the group creation script.

it allows me to input the group name and description but when i click create group and continue it opens a wordpress page saying ‘are you sure you want to do this, please try again’.

Also when I try to view a group which I created when I reverted back to the buddypress theme, it comes up with Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENDWHILE in /home/*****/public_html/wp-content/themes/**********/groups/single/home.php on line 21.

Its driving me mad. Please if anyone can help i would really appreciate it.

Try to isolate what’s conflicting with group creation. Deactivate all plugins except BuddyPress and change to bp-default theme, then create a group. If that works, move forward by activating your custom theme, create a group, and so forth.

    Hi, thanks for replying,

If I activate the buddypress template rather than my own, it works without any problems so it must me my template. Everything else seems to work fine. I dont even know where to start.

    Any more ideas?

What theme are you using? If you purchased a BP theme, the theme author should know what needs to be updated/corrected in theme.
