Support ping.fm for updating wire via mobile phone

Ping.fm is a simple and FREE service that makes updating your social networks a snap!

so,I want to users to update the activity/wire stream via mobile using ping.fm.

There’s a wordpress version,maybe it needs adapting to BP

Also, buddypress CMS should release a remote API for other services can use for there apps!

This could increase usage from mobile users for updating their status on BP.

If we could use ping.fm api or adapt something like this for activity stream?

This would be useful for mobile users to update there activity via ping.fm .
