Time Format – Change to “hours ago”, “minutes ago”, “days ago”

    Does anyone know how to update the time format for BuddyPress? I’d like to change the format from the default.

    20 seconds ago. I’d like to it to read a few seconds ago.
    1 day, 7 hours ago. I’d like it to read 1 day ago.
    1 week, 2 days ago. I’d like it to read 1 week ago.
    2 weeks, 3 days ago. I’d like it to read 2 weeks ago.

    And so on..

    Does anyone actually know how to achieve this without telling me to look at function bp_core_time_since?

    I’m looking for a solution to this as well. Can someone please point us in the right direction to create a custom filter that can change/customize the time/date format? Helping with this topic would also help with the Notifications and Message page time format issues that others are having as well. Thx
