@lanvalencia The Spanish translation still needs to be completed for BuddyPress 2.5. The new phrases for the emails have not been translated: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/buddypress/dev/es/default
Maybe you can help @_dorsvenabili get those done 😀
After the translation is updated, and after WordPress downloads the updated language pack (the .mo and .po files), go to wp-admin > Tools > BuddyPress and run the “Reinstall emails” tool.

This will reinstall the emails in Spanish for you.

Hello,
I’ve transated emails in french one by one in admin.
But I can’t find a way to translate the “Hi” of the “Hi {{recipient.name}},” show in customize area.
Same problem for the “unsubscribe” in bottom message.
Have look in the template but did find the solution:
/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-templates/bp-legacy/buddypress/assets/emails/single-bp-email.php

BuddyPress in french is now 100% translated. You can download it from here:

In case the emails still remains in english, use the repair tool link at the top of the email list and start “Réinstaller les emails (supprime puis restaure les paramètres par défaut)”.

IF your translation file is up to date (have you re-downloaded the files to check?), those strings should be getting translated.
Otherwise, another option is to edit the email template. Copy buddypress/bp-templates/bp-legacy/buddypress/assets/emails/single-bp-email.php into your theme and make whatever changes you want.

I install the new version of Buddypress and the email “accepted your friendship request” do not work and the rest of emails it is work, my site do not send the email or in my account of hotmail, gmail and yahoo i do not recive this email, i would like that any people give me a solution. Thank you.

I try to translate Buddypress Emails into german. At the moment all Emails are listed are in English. I try to use the “reinstall emails” tool and always get the english version of the emails.
On this ticket https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/6592 you mentioned the problem but I can find the solution.
I set define( ‘WPLANG’, ‘de_DE’ ) in the wp_config and also download the newest translation files from here: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/buddypress/stable/de/default
What can I do to get the german version of the emails?
