So, guys, switched my blog (Travel-Junkie) a couple days back over to WPMU and BP and uploaded everything to my server. There’s still a few things going wrong here and there, but nothing major. Blog creation has been disabled for now, still having some plans for that.

I’ve done loads of custom work on it, like location input, and changed the whole theme to a grid system. I’ve got loads of other plans and ideas for the site, but sadly never enough time for my own little projects.

I haven’t really tested it with any browser apart Firefox, cause, honestly, I couldn’t be bothered. But it’s my site and it’s only little, so I can do whatever i want :) I will check it out over the next few weeks, though…

Anyways, let me know what you think.

    Cheers,

    Boris

Now I get it why you needed that group script :)

No, looking good. A few links don’t seem to work like forums (gives you a blank page) in the groups and location maps (shows blog posts)?

oh, yeah, forgot to set up the forums… d’oh!

what do you mean with the location maps, mate?

I can’t reproduce the problem now, so it seems to be gone. You know on in the activity stream “updated their location! Check it out!” when clicking checking out I was referred to the homepage I think. Which didn’t make any sense imo. But now it works well!

ah ok, strange. the only thing i did was install the forums, but the profile links shouldn’t be affected by that. never had any problems on my local installation to be forwarded to the profile.

Ah, competition! I was waiting for your site to make the switch to BP. :)

I really like you integration with your theme.

Anyways, best of luck with your site!

finni3, competition is such a hard word :) Travel-Junkie is only a small site, kind of my pet project, if you so want…

Anyways, what’s the site then I am competing against? Might as well know what mastermind I’m up against :)

    @Travel-Junkie – site looks great.

Windows – Safari, Google Chrome, Firefox OK. As one might expect, in IE6/7 which may not be important to you, sidebar moves under the content EXCEPT IN http://travel-junkie.com/news/

Perhaps you might want to redirect the Register link in sidebar of user blogs to official register page, otherwise

This page could not be found!

Don’t feel too bad. These things shouldn’t happen, but sometimes they do. It might not even be your fault.

Maybe you got the URL wrong or maybe that URL just doesn’t exist anymore. Whatever, let’s not point the finger. You’re here, so we should at least give you something interesting:

Hmm, didn’t even think of that :) Cheers, mate!

IE6 is not important to me, but I guess I better have a look at IE7.

Very nice site, really like your theme. Is it custom made?

Cheers, mate! yup, custom made. all done by myself. the login page has also been styled to match the look and feel of the site as has the backend to some extend actually. you know, custom footer, custom logo when you log in, that kinda stuff.
