Trouble adding plugins to my buddypress site.

  • Hi,
I am getting these kinds of errors when I try to add new plugins with the dashboard.

“Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /home/awefuln1/public_html/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 924”

    and

“Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 491520 bytes) in /home/awefuln1/public_html/wp-admin/menu.php on line 235”

I have to go into my FTP to delete the plugin files for me to be able to do anything else from the dashboard otherwise when I try to click on anything in my dashboard it gives me that error. Really frustrating! Whats going on. We posted this earlier and were told to extend our memory to 64mb, but we can’t find .htaccess or our PHP.ini files in the ftp. adding the line to the wp-config.ini file doesn’t work for us either. We are not experienced codesmiths!

    Does anybody have any ideas?
