Trying to upgrade to version 2.2.2 getting error message

This is what Im getting when I enter my information

Failed to connect to FTP Server mysite.com :21

I see that my host shows my port to be 22

Do I need to change that on buddypress somewhere?

port 21 is FTP port 22 is SFTP maybe thats the problem? those are settings in your ftp program not buddypress.
