Unable to register users

    Hi there. I am having problems setting up BuddyPress on my multisite at http://bridesandweddings.com.au/
    I am using WordPress 4.2.2 and BuddyPress 2.3.2.1.

    I have configured the plugin as required but when I sign up (press complete sign up) as a user the form (register page) diverts to the home page. There is no confirmation that sign up has been completed, no email is generated and there are no pending users in the site. So obviously it’s not working.

    I currently have only the twentyfifteen theme activated and BuddyPress is the only plugin activated and the problem persists. I have deleted the original copy of BuddyPress from my site and the associated pages, cleared the cache in the dashboard and my browser and reset permissions. I have downloaded a fresh copy of BuddyPress directly and uploaded via FTP but nothing corrects the problem.
    I have asked my host to look into it but they did not detect any issue.

    Update. I have gone as far as deleting all plugins across the site except for BuddyPress and it still won’t work. I don’t know if this is any indication of the issue but no pages were generated during the installation of the plugin, I had to set them all up manually.

    The answer is in your first topic:
    I have deleted the original copy of BuddyPress from my site and the associated pages.

    If you haven’t removed BP from DB, via plugins dashboard > delete before reuploading a new copy it’s normal that you have to recreate the pages manually.

    Thanks for responding. I had to create the pages manually in the initial installation.It’s never worked properly for me unfortunately.

    Is there anymore advice on this? I have not been able to register users since this was installed for the first time a few days ago. It has never worked and I have performed all the recommended checks with plugins and themes etc.

    Looking forward to more advice on this.

    Hi there. I don’t appear to have that file at all. Perhaps that is the issue?
