Updated to 1.5.5 and now getting things like…

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 491520 bytes) in /home/jezyk/public_html/wp-content/themes/Chameleon/epanel/options_chameleon.php on line 826

I deactivate BP by changing the plugin file name via ftp and all loads ok.

This is a REALLY BAD time for this to happen. Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

You need to increase memory limit. Some ways to do so: https://codex.buddypress.org/troubleshooting/blank-pages/
If neither works, please contact webhost tech support.

Increase it? Why? It says there is more than enough.

Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 491520 bytes)

And it doesn’t have anything to do with my webhost, it has to do with the 1.5.5 upgrade of BP.

How do I go back to the previous version?

There is not “more than enough”. If there was enough, then you wouldn’t get the error message. Simple as that.

You can get older versions from https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress/developers/ but I recommend you stay up to date with the latest version.
