Users can login without activation/email verification?

Hi,

I have been doing some testing and have realised users can login without having verified their email address? Is this normal behaviour? Is it down to BuddyPress or is this a WordPress thing?

No. It’s not normal behavior. Check if you have a plugin which auto-activates user accounts.

It seems this is being caused by the WP Email Login login plugin. @r-a-y is an author so hopefully he sees this.
