Using First and Last names instead of Username

Hey, Buddies.
We’re hosting a networking-site and would like to use full names all throughout the site, meaning first and last name, both stored in the wordpress- and extended profile-fields. Is there any way to change the display name (in “Who’s online”, “Activity” and the likes) from User-/First-Name to full names?

You can use this function bp_get_displayed_user_fullname() to do so.
