@aijazsiddique It would help to see the whole picture so to speak. Code looks familiar. We might have template-packed that theme you’re using. What’s the name of the theme? Theme demo url?
this is the demo url
if you want i can send u theme
the creator of theme told about this
HI, the theme does not support buddypress and unfortunately we are not available for such a customization. You’ll have to try it by your self.
Thank you.
@aijazsiddique barring any unforseen JS conflicts, we can certainly try to make your theme compatible with BuddyPress. If you’re not launching anytime soon, I would suggest waiting for BP 1.7 coming out later this year or sometime next year. If you are launching soon, then let’s get going with the process. I also will need the codes for header.php, sidebar.php, index.php and footer.php posted in respective pastebin.com pages posted here to start off.
Thanks @mercime I want to launch this site soon
here is code

i want to lunch it as soon as posible
i’m following this thread because i also need my current theme to be compatible with BP if that’s possible.
i already installed the BP Template Pack but i cant seem to comprehend the Step 3: Tweaking Your Layout.
my URL: http://faintlight.besaba.com
Please do not place conditions on the FREE help you may receive here, this forum is for support matters related to the BP plugin and default theme itself not third party themes, , there is a pretty clear guide to making BP compatible with third party themes and also a plugin provided to help with that, but the onus is on the user to do this work themselves, it requires a basic understanding of markup.
You do have a choice in this process in choosing a theme that is actually BP compatible or selecting one from the long list that Mercime has already worked through to make compatible, but if you are going to wait for mercime to do the work for you then you must wait patiently as Mercime, as do all of us providing any level of help & support here, are busy people with much to get through daily before we can give our free time.
Thankfully BP 1.7 will sort all your issues out with third party themes I suggest you hang on for that release to drop then life will be easier for non coders.
@Hugo
sorry friends
@slkmclaren
please post your page.php i think i can help you if code is not complicatedMe too, I have problem with step 3 in bp-template-pack. I’m using pinboard theme, https://wordpress.org/extend/themes/pinboard.
My website is: http://buddygalaxy.com/.
Thank you so much! I’ll try that.
I tried the method from here, https://codex.buddypress.org/legacy/theme-dev-bp-template-pack-walkthrough-twenty-ten-bp-1-5/. But it didn’t work out with my theme very well. What did I do wrong here? Anybody knows? Thanks!
@mercime: is this theme can be integrated with BuddyPress? I checked the links you have provided above. It seems they are FacePress and PinBoard themes.
Harmony Theme from ElegantThemes.com
@slkmclaren Sure, you can make the BP template files compatible with Harmony theme. Initial scan shows you only need to create 2 new files to make it work. Have to be sure though.
To begin, create a new topic in this forum re your Harmony Theme compatibilty. Open up your theme’s header.php file, copy all code and paste into pastebin.com, click submit and post the generated URL in the new topic you’ll be creating. Do the same for your theme’s page.php, index.php, sidebar.php and footer.php files. I’d like to see the whole picture.
@mercime: thanks for the quick reply. this is the link to the newly created thread for my theme compatibility
