Where can I find documentation? – Considering BuddyPress

I’m considering moving from Joomla’s jomsocial and starting over with WordPress and BuddyPress. is there any downloadable PDF-type documentation on Buddypress?

I’d like to know the following:
1-Can it support multiple profile types e.g. Business owner, and customer profiles?
2-Does it support Facebook Connect?
3-I’d like to connect Buddypress profiles to classified ads and reviews (using something like WPReviewEngine), so that when viewing a Buddypress profile you can also see the reviews and classifieds left by that person.

Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

3. Classified Ads – you can use most WP plugins with BP and members may add their classifieds in the installation, but none in this category have any integration with BP that I know of. You either have to build a bridge or ask the plugin developer to add it or hire a another developer to do so.

@mercime a bridge? You make it sound so scary, it’s not like trying to integrate bbpress 1.0 with wordpress… THAT was a bridge (with a scary troll underneath for an added bonus).

I prefer to call them ‘connectors’ as in “a plugin that connects one plugin to another”… man i have ALOT of thoes

@mangolife – It’s extremely easy to connect a well-written wordpress plugin to buddypress profiles (even easier if they are using wordpress features, such as post types)

The difficult part was adding entries from the plugins to the activity streams, but i believe that is being addressed for a future release.
