Where is my original control panel?

  • Hi, I am new for buddypress.

Yesterday, I installed Unplugged Child Theme from WordPress control panel and followed the instructions.

However, right now, as you can see from the blog:http://merrionitdesign.com/wordpress/

I cannnot find out the place where I can post new articles!

One more thing!! I lost the orginal wordpress control panel where I can manage the settings, plugins… Right now, when I am login from http://www.merrionitdesign.com/wordpress/wp-login.php, I only can see the top nevigation bar without wordpress control panel’s side bar. Does that mean I need to login FTP to modify the code?

Can you help me? Either direct me on how to go back to the orignal wordpress without buddypress, or how to get my easy-to-go wordpress side bar back

    Thanks.

If you have FTP access, go to wp-content and rename plugins folder to e.g. pluginxx, and rename wp-content/themes/ and rename unplugged theme folder. Then go to dashboard and see if you find your admin’s menu items.

    sorted out. thanks.
