WP Super Cache messes up “Add Friend” / “Cancel Friend Request” buttons

When WP Super Cache is installed and I add a friend, the button immediately changes to “Cancel Friend Request” as intended but when I refresh the page, it shows “Add Friend” again even though the friend was already added. Any tweaks to fix this?

I fixed this by adding /members/ to the non-cache pages – hopefully there aren’t other such Buddypress/Super Cache inconveniences Im not seeing.

Pretty much so. Add activity, groups, forums, registration.

    Hi guys,

I actually have the same issue but I don’t have WP Super Cache installed.
However I have many other plugins installed…
Do you know what plugin could cause the same effect ? Or perhaps a set into buddypress or wordpress itself ? (because of the use of permalinks for exemple…? I don’t know, I have no idea on what’s going on, I’m a newbie to wordpress and buddypress ! 😉

Thanks a lot for your time.

@chamaxou basic troubleshooting includes changing to BP default theme and/or deactivating all plugins except BuddyPress to check what’s causing the conflict with your Add/Cancel friendship requests.

chamaxou, if you don’t run WP Super Cache, you should have made your own thread.
