Very nice work. Thesis users would go through a modification of this, correct?
@LPH2005 I haven’t used Thesis but see no reason why it wouldn’t work.
I have just added a version of TwentyTen with BuddyPress http://bp-theme-converts.com/twentyten-for-buddypress/
Should help follow the tutorial.
Good work. I hope you add it to the BP theme repository.
Thanks @paulhastings0, will do but want to get some more testing & feedback first.
Just added the latest version of Mystique with BuddyPress templates.

If anyone here download the Mystique theme from above, I have made a few updates, new version on http://bp-theme-converts.com/mystique-with-buddypress/
@thekmen you know there’s a trac ticket for twentyten to be included with BuddyPress?
@andrea_r I didn’t know, will have a look for it, thanks.
I need to update mine to add the BuddpPress 1.2.5 theme fixes.
I have updates for it too – currently it’s tossing a 404 when the activity stream is set to the front page under Settings -> Reading.
If we collab on it, we both get props.
TwentyTen theme now updated to work with BuddyPress 1.2.5 as well as various bug fixes.
Link above.
Just added a Mystique update to include BuddyPress 1.2.5 bug fixes as well as fixes for ajax sidebar widgets and some CSS issues.
Feel free to test & let me know on any issues you find.
@thekmen From my point of view though, it looked more of converting WordPress theme to BuddyPress-compatible theme In any case, great job on the tutorial. Cheers.
@mercime thanks, know it’s slightly confusing.
In reality we are converting the current BuddyPress theme to our WordPress theme & enabling BP features on that.
Will revisit the tutorial soon and see if I can explain any better.
Hope it helps for now though…
@thekmen will you be making theme and releasing them there or be helping people make theme or what?
I joined the site.
@josh101 the intention is to help folks thinking about using BuddyPress. Will try to keep tutorials as simple as possible & also add BP functionality to some of the most used WP themes.
Lots more tutorials & themes will be added soon.
Thanks for joining up.
@thekmen sounds cool. Im using the same name and avatar there. You’d think it uses the same db if you did not know better.
