[Resolved] xprofile fields on mobile are in wrong order or backwards

    I use Boss theme by buddyboss and it has an option to force mobile versions on desktop, which I like a lot. But I notice that my xprofile fields are ordered wrong. I have the basic profile (name, email, phone, website) but then i created another profile group called Resume (with tons of slots for adding resume details) But when you view profile it shows the resume first and not the basic profile details.

    the only problem is I dont want to add duplicate Name, email, phone to the resume group, I just would like to know how to fix the order. I remember seeing a similar post on the forums but though I’d start a new thread cause sometimes its hard to search for a post you scanned across weeks ago.

    Try checking the order using the TwentyFifteen theme and if the order is as expected, then that means there might be a problem with the Boss theme. If that’s the case, you should let the BuddyBoss team know so they can hopefully release a fix.

    Hey Henry yup it even happens on the 2015 theme. I recently updated to buddypress 2.3.2 .. I also deactivated every plugin I had. its something in buddypress mobile coding they added in 2.3.

    Right. So it looks as though it could be something the BuddyPress core team might need to look at. Can you open a Trac ticket explaining how the profile fields are displaying in the wrong order? If you could provide as much info as you can that’d be great.

    You can use the same username and password as you use here in the forums.

    Thanks Henry and Mercime, yes I updated the Trac Ticket. Would you guys know of a css quick fix until they update the core of buddypress?

    @mercime it scares me that you open that ticket 15 months ago and nothing has been done. What are the chances of this being fixed in a reasonable time? Did you find an alternative solution for right now?

    Problem Solved :

    All I did was create a blank Field Group and Move my Resume field to another position and it fixed itself.

    @quinngoldwin Glad you had it resolved, thanks for posting back. Strange that it happened in the first place.
