@ariadnaquingles, the issue could be due to a conflict with a third-party plugin. You might want to try deactivating all plugins and then reactivating them one at a time to identify the culprit.

The settings tab is also not visible if the user is viewing another user’s profile. This is the default functionality in BuddyPress.

Please change this function name “custom_bp_avatar_activity” and keep it unique and please remember this also that this will create a new activity So, you will get two activity for single profile uploads.
