I never found a good solution for this. We ended up having 2 main types of groups that we wanted to differentiate between so we were hoping for two big groups with subforums, but just ended up making each its own group.

For the record, I’d love to see this too. Either hide the the widget entirely when there is no active notice, or display default text such as “There are no notices at this time.” The blank space just makes it look broken.

You can login to your WordPress dashboard using your admin credentials.

Once inside the dashboard, Please visit Network Admin->Settings. There you will see “Registration Settings”.

Select “User accounts may be registered” and that will disable the new blog creation but allow registering new user account.

Please try this plugin to hide members page, you just have to select it in settings. Also for the search we can override the template index.php in child theme then can wrap the search form in the condition if(is_user_logged_in())

Hi,

If you want to go with the contact form plugin then there is no need to select a registration page in BuddyPress amd have to use shortcode on the page and then create a button on header(as you like) and link it to the register page.

Now, if you want to save data in xprofile fields then have to do custom coding for sure.

You just have to override members-loop.php in your child theme and then have to modify ajax querystring.
