My pleasure. The plugin is really great and as I mentioned, the support is awesome, even more so since it is a free plugin, so I think the right thing to do for everyone who use the plugin, is to make a small donation towards the plugin.

My advice is to choose one that is actively maintained. Reason being, Twitter et al have been known to make changes to their APIs in the past which could result in some social login plugins no longer working. A developer that actively maintains their plugin should be able to release fixes if this scenario happens.

This is a theme-related problem. You should a) use a BuddyPress compatible theme or b) contact the theme author asking them to release a fix.

This doesn’t answer your question but you say you’re including a file to open a mysql connection. Interacting with the WordPress database should be done though the wpdb class. Check it out, it’ll make your life easier and ensure your code is secure.

Well in a desktop browser narrowed right down it’s a responsive or rather a fluid layout so should be displaying fairly well, however I’m afraid this is more an issue that the theme has to handle we can only do so much with BP elements when they are rendered in unknown themes.

Most likely there are things in the pipeline but we haven’t seen them come into fruition yet. The new API was introduced at the beginning of June so hopefully we should start to see plugins appear over the next few months.

Thank you. I’ve tried examining the BuddyDrive implementation, but I am just lost and I don’t understand backbone at all.

I’ve also been patiently waiting and watching for any other use of the BP_Attachment API on Github, but unfortunately have found none.

It’s such a cool feature, but I fear too complex for me. Hope others take up the cause soon.

This should have been flagged up when it came to light, I’ve had to wrestle with this and another excerpt issue for a client.
