Thanks for this, I encountered this issue and could not see any related posts as if I were all alone. Even gave up and had to fix issues daily by deleting certain messed up posting.

I just installed this plugin hoping it would fix the issues with the Tweetstream corrupting the RSS feeds because of an invalid character (likely nbsp) and utf… It didn’t seem to fix it… This is all beyond me, but I think they are some how related… Would you mind looking at it and giving your thoughts?

  Hello again. My plugin is based on fixing BP’s feeds. Your issue is related to Tweetstream I guess. I tried to look your feed but I saw a blank page. Are you deactivated you feeds for regular visitors? Your issue might be a result of your Tweetstream’s database output. Maybe you should try changing tweetstream’s tables to utf8_general…[Read more]

The issue is related to Tweetstream and it’s corruption of rss feeds…
Everyone of the errors is attributable to an invalid character inserted into the activity stream when pulling in Tweets…. You can see this here…
