Hello, I have your groups widget on my site. But the only thing is, when I click “Newest” or any other tab, it just brings me to the groups directory page with nothing sorted.

How can I fix it? Thanks!

olizilla started the forum topic class=selected always set on #popular-groups anchor in the group Enhanced BuddyPress Widgets:

line 141 in enhanced-buddypress-widgets-bp-functions.php (0.2.1) sets the class=selected attribute on the #popular-groups anchor regardless of what initial state you select in the admin.

I pulled out the the first one which is declared outside the if block and all was well.
