I made a little plugin that allows you to have different BP on each domain, but there are limitations.
As jjj said, there is always one user base and plugin just adds different BP components on each site (like activities that user take, groups, messages..).
I’m not using forum so I’m not sure if this [...] -

Can you add column “id” in query that retrieves activities for user’s friends in BP_Activity_Activity::get_activity_for_friends()?
It would make manipulation with activities much easier and will be more consistent with results of these methods:
BP_Activity_Activity::get_activity_for_user()
BP_Activity_Activity::get_sitewide_activity()Please, see patch attached.
