S2 Member looks like a great plugin.
I have to disagree with you about WPMUDEV though. Their plugins are amongst the best in the business.
My membership with WPMUDEV has saved me thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of development costs.
If only I found them sooner. I run a paid membership with the Supporter plugin which integrates with dozens of other plugins.
They will have a membership plugin real soon as well.

I have the same problem…
I have deleted all groups and started a new group but no luck.
The thread appears in the sitewide activity, the tags get created.
I just get the error and the thread doesnt show up in my /forums page.
Any idea how to fix that?
I was using it with a recent version no problem. Just did an upgrade on a test install and the option seems to work on the front page.
Is there no way to get countries working?

Not sure what I’m missing here, but that code does not seem to do the trick.
So if I delete the avatars will folder, will I lose some of the avatars?

Havent tried to delete the avatars folder yet, but Andy says ‘not all will be lost’, what does he mean by all?
So I will loose images or not and will they need to re upload them?

Here is what I did:
I upgraded to Buddypress 1.1.1 and activity feed has gone missing as well.
Right now in bp-activity.php I have
define ( ‘BP_ACTIVITY_DB_VERSION’, ‘1800’ );
I searched the meta_key entry “bp-activity-db-version” and it was set to 1300.
Should I change that to something below 1300?
I set it to 1297, logged into wp-admin and hasn’t made a difference after initiating some activity.
Anyone a idea?
